Saturday, May 9, 2026

David R. Masse is the founder and CEO of AAM15 Management, a diversified investment firm with a focus on hospitality, multifamily, and student housing. Under David’s leadership, AAM15 owns and operates 12 hotels and develops and manages a growing portfolio of New England apartment and student housing communities. The firm recently expanded its footprint with the acquisition of Kelly’s Restaurant Group, LLC—a beloved 74-year-old quick-service chain with seven locations—and the historic Turner Hill Country Club in Ipswich, MA, a private 18-hole championship golf course anchored by a grand 1903 mansion recognized as one of America’s Great Estates.

A proud Beverly High School graduate (Go Panthers!), David pursued his Bachelor of Science degree at Salem State University after attending North Shore Community College. He credits the Bank of New England Executive Commercial Lending Program with transforming the direction of his career.

Before launching AAM15, David co-founded several successful ventures, including Panther Properties Investment Group and Compass Realty Associates, and served as Senior Vice President at Boston Private Bank & Trust Company.

Deeply committed to his community, David has served on the Boards of the Beth Israel–Lahey President’s Council, The Cabot Theater, and the Northeast Corporation of Trustees. He also supports numerous North Shore institutions, including North Shore Community College, Salem State University, Beth Israel–Lahey Beverly Hospital, One Mission, and the YMCA of Danvers. David believes in giving back to the region that helped shape his success.

David lives in Ipswich, Massachusetts, with his wife, Karen Carr, and their three children.
